Commonwealth Games 2022 Day 7 Live Updates: PV Sindhu Advances To Singles Rd of 16, Hima Das Enters 200m Semis

Commonwealth Games, Day 7, Live Updates: Hima Das has entered the semi-finals of women’s 200m while shuttler PV Sindhu has won her women’s singles Round of 32 match. The Indian contingent so far has won 18 medals in the ongoing Commonwealth Games, including five gold. On the seventh day of the ongoing event, stars like Dipika Pallikal (squash) and Amit Panghal (boxing) will be in action. Three other boxers are also in action in the quarter-finals. All of them will be assured of medals if they enter the semi-finals. Also, the men’s hockey team will face Wales, and it will be very crucial in terms of their chances of progressing to the semi-finals. Later on, Murali Sreeshankar will also be in action in the men’s long jump finals. He is a prime contender for a medal as he qualified for the final with the best jump among all competitors in the qualifying round. In other athletics action, the hammer throw qualifying is happening where India’s Manju Bala and Sarita Singh is in action.
